Meredith: You can say anything to me.
Derek (pause): I want to marry you. I want to have kids with you. I want to build us a house. I want to settle down and grow old with you. I want to die when I'm 110 years old in your arms. I don't want 48 uninterrupted hours. I want a lifetime. (Meredith steps back intimidated)
Meredith: Mm-hmm...
Derek: Do you see what happens? I say things like that, and you fight the urge to run in the opposite direction. It's okay. I understand. I didn't, but now I do. I do... You're just getting started, and I've been doing this for a long time. Deep down, you're still an intern. And you're not ready.
Meredith: I'm not ready right now. But things could stay the way they are, and I can get ready. I'll get ready.
Derek: Things can stay the way they are. We can still meet in the elevator or the on call room. And maybe you'll be ready. And I'll wait. I'll wait until you're ready.
Meredith: Okay, then.
Derek: Yeah, but what if...What if while I'm waiting I meet someone who is ready to give me what I want from you?
Meredith: What if you do?
Derek: I don't know.

Cristina: I’m ready, I’m fine. Meredith talked me down. Go, go, go, I’ll be right behind you.
Burke: I’m sorry.
Cristina: Oh, no, I can do this. I had a momentary freakout, but now I’m fine. I can do this.
Burke: But you don’t want to do this. I’m up there waiting for you to come down the aisle, and I know you don’t want to come. I know you don’t want to come but that you’ll come anyway because you love me. And if I loved you, if I loved you, not the woman that I’m trying to make you be, not the woman that I hope you’ll become, but you…if I did, I wouldn’t be up there waiting for you. I would be letting you go.
Cristina (shocked): I am wearing the dress. I am ready. And maybe I didn’t want to before, but I want to now. I really think I want this!
Burke: I really wish that you didn’t think. I wish that you knew.
Burke: I’m sorry.

悼念一下我逝去的青春

c师兄发消息提醒我应该还他SATC的盘了。仔细一想已经快霸占一年了。去年圣诞节左右光景一直看在SATC。只是物是人非。
刚倒了没半米车，发现后面有一个人。刹车。发现前面又出来一个。然后调转车头发现不是两个是三个。心想今天不是万圣节怎么运气这么好……
开车去c的家，路过w以前的房子，里面还有灯光，想是有新的住户了。两年半前刚来的时候就常来这个地方，我和老谢会把w放下，然后从一个很有难度的弯角转回去。当然w已经不住这儿了，而且很有可能这学期结束就会离开这个城市。
把双闪灯打开，下车去走进c的家。想起这段石阶。有一次和c的女朋友还有几个人去Southpoint看电影(当然是很友谊的那种看电影……)，回来遇上大雨，下车以后必须冲下这段石阶才能进屋。遥想当年第一晚就来到c的家，c给我们打电话回国，把y师姐介绍给我们，然后y带我们去买菜。意识流转到y。看的第一场电影就是y带我去的，片名是In Her Shoes。顺便又联想到了吃喝帮的各种活动：羽毛球，羽毛球后聚餐，摘草莓，waterski……
如果人总停留在过去，那必然没办法创造将来。
如果把在UNC的五年和以前在上中的三年 在复旦的五年做比较，会不会觉得总是第一年最快乐，第三年开始就痛苦了。而在复旦的第四年，如果记忆还没褪去的话，是多么张狂。如果人为了期盼新生活的到来而确实可以忘记伤痛的话，那么新生活的本来意义有何在？新的会变成老的，旧的，不是么？等到发现新生活厌倦的时候开始调整，然后是镇痛，然后……又因为怕疼而怀念起那曾经的新生活，或者翘首等待着新的新生活……

强大的心

今天还着实被人感动了一下。一般情况下，被感动可能是因为生离死别，或者忠贞不渝，whatever。不过今天不大一样。没有任何先兆。只是因为一颗勇敢的心灵。有的人看似强悍，却内心脆弱。有的人刚好相反。我要做的，就是拥有那样强大的心的人，而不一定是权力或者地位上的强大。
不过能否做到，却不是我说了算的。但是另外又有一句话。Impossible is Nothing. 大家或许记得料理鼠王里面的一句台词，人人都可以做一名好厨师的意思，并不是人人都会变成好厨师，而是好厨师可以来自任何人（或者老鼠，of coz...）。所谓强大的心，大抵也是如此。
为什么不常更新blog。一个很懒的回答是懒。一个真实的回答是恐惧。恐惧把真实呈现出来的苍白；恐惧没有办法呈现真实。既然如此为什么还要费此周折。不过人大抵是要有个寄托，然后有个发泄的渠道。我已经被捆住了双手双腿，请留给我的嘴让我说话。
很多事情本与我无关，但我却总庸人自扰，在博爱的名义下虐待自己。其实博爱的方式也有很多种。请不要再掺进私心。
